This is where Music comes to Life

The music ministry of Christ the King Catholic Church leads the sung praise of Almighty God! We aim to foster a singing assembly at Mass through choirs and music presented with both skill and grace. Talented singers and musicians are encouraged to offer their service in this ministry. Participation is on a select basis; it requires an audition and is dependent upon a person’s ability and the needs of the various music groups.

Distinct choirs sing at two Sunday morning Masses – 9:00 Mass (CTK Pueri Cantores); and 11:00 Mass (CTK Parish Choir)

A fourth group – Life Teen Choir, made up of teenagers – sings at the Sunday 5:30 pm Mass under the direction of Matt Jeffries. (Click here to email him for more information about this music group.)

CTK is forming a youth choir to sing for the 4:00 PM Christmas Eve Mass this year. Children in grades 4-12 are encouraged and invited to sign up. There will be five rehearsals to prepare all the music, four of these are required. Parents must register their children here as spots are limited and having your contact information is necessary. Our rehearsals will be held on the following dates from 5:30pm – 6:15pm

November 14^th, November 21^st, December 5^th, December 12^th, December 19^th

Check in will begin in the choir room at 5:15pm

Check out will be from the narthex and chaperones will be present with the children until everyone is picked up.
