WELCOME!

There is so much to see and experience here at Christ the King Catholic Church! As the Communications Department, we serve as the official media liaison for the Pastor, Staff, Ministries and Organizations as well as the community at large. Our mission is to provide assistance and support to the parish ministries and organizations by evangelizing through a wide range of communication tools and media outlets. We want to spread God’s Truth, Beauty, & Goodness to ALL people and through EVERY encounter.

 

Submitting a Communication Request

Communication Channels: Bulletin, eNewsletter, Social Media & Mass Announcements.

For communication requests across all channels, simply fill out our  request form above, at least 10 days prior to the publication date you desire, and refer to the guidelines below.

*Please Note: If you’ve already submitted a Request Form, it will automatically be considered for all channels depending on what you choose in the form. There is no need to submit a separate announcement.

 

Bulletin

Our weekly bulletin is our best source of parish happenings! Pick one up at Mass to learn about our many groups, ministry highlights, parishioner news, volunteer opportunities, photos, weekly calendar and much more! Current and past bulletins are also available online.

Submitting a Bulletin Request

The CTK Parish Bulletin is the weekly publication that comes out just in time for our weekend Masses. We include support groups, ministry highlights, parish news, photos, volunteer opportunities and more! Any group is invited to submit announcements however, please note that CTK ministries/groups will have priority space. All items submitted for inclusion in the Parish Bulletin should be submitted through our Communications Request Form at least 10 days prior to the requested publication date.

Bulletin Guidelines

Please submit a Bulletin Announcement Request by submitting a Communications Request Form.

For consideration, please follow these guidelines:

  • Deadline:  Submissions must be made at least 10 days prior to the Sunday publication date that you desire (Thursday, a full week prior to the desired publication i.e. For an announcement to go out on Feb 21st, deadline to submit is Feb 11th).  Holidays are subject to earlier deadlines.
  • All announcements must include a ministry name and method of contact for more information (name, email, phone number or website).
  • Logos and accompanying graphics related to announcement will be used only if space allows.
  • Do not submit graphics/photos without permission of use, and if applicable knowledge of persons appearing in photo.
  • Publication of submissions is subject to space available. Submissions may be edited for space and/or clarity.

Parish Weekly Flocknote (eNewsletter)

Our eNewsletter is a great way to receive dates, highlights, upcoming events, links to helpful information and parish photos, once a week on Thursdays at 2:00pm. To sign up, click HERE.

For consideration, please follow:

  • Deadline:  Same as bulletin.
  • Please include: Ministry name, day of the week, date, location, and time of your event. Also have a contact name and email for reference.
  • Please submit your logo if you have not done so already.
  • One photo can be added if space allows.
  • 2-3 sentences describing your event and/or ministry.

In order to advertise on our social media, simply fill out the Communications Request Form below.

Mass Announcements

Most weekends after Mass, our wonderful lectors have a chance to announce the upcoming week’s special events. This is a great opportunity for communications because it is heard at ALL the Masses! Want your ministry to be a part of Mass Announcements? Simply fill out the Communications Request Form below.

For announcement consideration only, please follow:

  • Deadline:  Same as bulletin.
  • Please include: Ministry name, day of the week, date, location, and time of your event. No contact needed.
  • 1-3 sentences describing your event and/or ministry.

 
 
 

Speaking Opportunities & Inserts

Ministries in the parish may have the opportunity to speak or provide a short video announcement to be shown at Mass for large events or collections. Ministries are given opportunities on a rotation basis so that all ministries and the causes they support can receive equal support from the parish. To request a speaking opportunity please contact Matt Jeffries at majeffries@ctk-tampa.org.

Distribution of flyers, signs or other materials on the CTK campus are not permitted.
