Facebook is a website which allows users, businesses, and organizations to sign-up for free profiles and connect with friends or work colleagues, online. It allows users to share pictures, music, videos, and articles, as well as their own thoughts and opinions with however many people that follow them.
Christ the King’s goal for Facebook is to engage with parishioners virtually in order to foster a solid community both in person and online. We share prayer reflections, reminders on ministry and large events, and the latest happenings around CTK!
This is a great place to get to know our parishioners and engage with them all in one place!
Instagram is a social networking service built around sharing photos and videos. Like most social media apps, Instagram allows you to follow users that you’re interested in. This creates a feed on your homepage, showing recent posts from everyone you follow. You can like posts, comment on them, and share them with other people.
Christ the King’s goal for Instagram is to evangelize through beauty with aesthetically engaging photos and videos. We believe the goodness of God can be experienced through an image that resonates with you or a video that you happen to see. God can speak to us through all channels of social media, and we hope to be that strong messenger for His Kingdom.
Twitter is an online news and social networking site where people communicate in short messages called tweets. With only 290 characters to fill the description, twitter is a quick way to get a message out to your audience without having to dig through too many words.
Christ the King’s goal for Twitter is to send short & direct tweets to our followers about all the happenings here on campus!
Our Parish Weekly News Email (eNewsletter) is where you can receive highlights, upcoming events, links to helpful information and parish photos from all that’s happening around Christ the King that week! Our eNewsletter sends out on Thursdays at 2:00pm.
Christ the King’s goal for the eNewsletter is to keep parishioners informed about the latest news, events, and more at CTK!
Our Weekly Online Journal, Beloved, is an ejournal that gets sent once a week on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. It’s filled with exciting content like credible articles on the faith, journal entries from people just like you, modern media, devotionals, prayers, catechetical teachings, and so much more! We chose the name BELOVED because we wanted a name that is relatable to every single person that reads the journal, and one that won’t ever run dry. You are God’s Beloved and that’s one thing that won’t ever change.
Christ the King’s goal for Beloved is to provide relatable stories from Catholics just like you! We wanted a platform that paints our faith in an artistic and poetic way for all of those who relate to that perspective.
Most churches can’t reach their people when they need to — in between Sundays or if a person stops showing up on Sundays. Flocknote helps fix that with a smarter way to text message and email. Flocknote can reach all parishioners at a moment’s notice, resulting in higher attendance and a more connected church.
Flocknote is the platform through which our weekly emails (eNewsletter & Beloved) are sent. Christ the King’s goal for Flocknote is to develop the parish’s way of communicating with Staff, Volunteers, and Parishioners. Flocknote is also used by individual ministries to send out emails to their members!
